Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare Foundation was established in 2000 to raise funds from private sources. The Board of Directors is made up of community leaders who embrace the mission of Lakeside and have links to people and companies that can, and do, support Lakeside

• The Community Excellence Celebration and Links for Lakeside Golf Tournament - two events held annually.
• Events raise awareness about mental illness, co-occurring substance abuse disorders and the services Lakeside offers, primarily to citizens with limited to no healthcare resources.
• The foundation also obtains funds through gifts, endowments, grants and capital campaigns.
