Effective February 8th

Effective February 8th, 2010 Lakeside will not have appointments available for individuals, new to Lakeside, without insurance who are seeking services from our Medication Clinic. Due to an unprecedented 25.1% annual increase in referrals to our Adult Medication Clinic and a limited number of appointments which are reimbursed by our funding partners, regretfully we have no choice at this time but to make this very difficult decision. To ensure that our current clients are able to continue to receive their current level of care and services we can only offer appointments to individuals who are established clients of Lakeside.

How to get help

Here at Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare, we are devoted to your well being: mentally, physically, and emotionally.  As such, we want to give you some peace of mind by knowing what to expect on your first visit.  If you are seeking services for the first time or have not received services in the past 6 months at Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare you must first visit our Access Center which is open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm seven days a week.

When you arrive at our Princeton Plaza location you will make your way to the Access Center waiting room.  Here you will sign in at the reception desk and will be asked to complete some general paperwork.  If you have insurance be sure to provide your insurance card at this time. f If you are currently without insurance you must be an Orange County resident to receive services at Lakeside.

Our Access Center works like an Emergency Room as some situations require immediate attention. Wait times vary based on the number of individuals in our waiting room so we suggest that you bring a book or magazine along.

After a brief assessment by our Assessment Specialist you will be given referrals and/or appointments for the appropriate services. The Assessment Specialist will explain the process to access recommended services which may be referrals to community resources.

We suggest that you discuss all current medications with your Assessment Specialist because there are certain types of Medications that Lakeside doctors do not prescribe.

Please call 407-875-3700 x 6186 or 6032 if you have questions.
